Using the DiFrancesco-Noble model, the conduction (Purkinje fiber) system was networked from the atrioventricular node to the myocardium. The Luo-Rudy model or Noble model was implemented into the code for ventricular myocytes, and the Nattle model was used for atrial myocytes. The orientations of the myocytes (fiber directions) were modeled based on anatomical observations.
